Signing Ceremony with ERA |
On June 7, 2005, Nori-La signed Shishinda-Mizan
road maintenance project agreement with ERA.Mr Xiao Yong, G/M
of Nori-la and Ato Zaid W/Gebriel, G/M of ERA, signed the agreement.
Mr Fikru, Deputy G/M of Nori-la in charge of project, witnessed
the signing ceremony.
The Shishinda-Mizan project, with 133 million Birr contract
amount, is a road maintenance project. The employer of the project
is ERA, and the duration of the contract is 720 calendar days.

It is the biggest one in value among projects Nori-La has won
since its establishment September 1, 2004.
Nori-La is making much efforts to win new project and expand
market shares. It has participated on a number of tenders and
already won several projects successfully. Excluding Shishinda-Mizan
project, Nori-La has won an asphalt work 27 million Birr in
Mekele and a shop building project 7.5 Million Birr in Bahir
Dar for MOND in April, 2005
It is clear that Nori-La has made progress on the way to diversify
its marketing source not only depend on MOND. At the same time,
Nori-La has established a new crusher site (80,000 m2) at Lemi
and began production since April, 2005. |

The fourth board meeting was
held in Addis Ababa from 12 –14th January 2005.
Board members have discussed and approved the budget of
2005, strategy plan (2005-2007), organizational chart
and other manuals prepared by Managerial team of Nori-La.
