Norinco Lalibela Engineering & Construction Share company has participated in the 2nd International Construction Exhibition, organized by the Construction Contractor’s Association of Ethiopia (CCAE) & Century promotion, which was held on 5 –11th May 2005. Governmental organizations like Telecommunication; Standard & Quality Control Authority participated on the exhibition.
On the opening day of the Exhibition H.E. Haile Assegide State Minister of Infrastructure visited our stall and inquire about the performance of Nori-La after merging with Chinese counterpart. H.E.Tefera Wallewa Minister of Capacity Building also visited on the evening of the opening day. In addition to the Ministers, Officials of African Development Bank, EEPCO, ERA, Telecommunication, Insurance & other governmental & non-governmental organizations visited and showed interest on the briefing & display of projects picture by the LC projector.
On the closing ceremony Dr.Kassu Yilala Minister of Infrastructure addressed few points on

• Road project expansion. 1.5 billion ETB, excluding any external fund, will be earmarked every year in the coming three years on road sector particularly high attention is given to new roads. Road contractors are advised to form joint venture in order to get utmost advantage from this opportunity.
• Effort is being made on power station and housing development projects
• Encouraging machinery lease and rent

• The organizer awarded Nori-La certificate for participation.
